Focus on Leasing

FCMM invites you to explore oil and gas development opportunities on 265,000 acres of land in southwest Louisiana. We manage extensive tracts of timberland, primarily for oil and gas development, on behalf of Forcap Investments LP, La Bokay Corporation and Meriwether Louisiana Land & Timber LLC.

We do not conduct our own exploration as our focus is exclusively on the business of leasing.

Exploration Targets

Shallow Miocene, Frio, Hackberry and Wilcox formations, with extensive areas underlain by the Cretaceous age Austin Chalk trend.

Glen Rose, Edwards, Haynesville, Sligo, Cotton Valley and Smackover formations.

The Eocene Yegua trend. This area has had particularly successful results in recent years with significant new multi-well field discoveries in Calcasieu Parish.
