On Tuesday, December 21, Forest Capital Partners, LLC ("Forest Capital") announced it has reached a definitive agreement to purchase approximately 2.2 million acres of timberland from Boise Cascade, LLC ("Boise"). The timberlands are located in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Louisiana, Alabama and Minnesota. The transaction is scheduled to close in the first quarter of 2005.
